1. General Agreement
All students and parents enrolling in or consulting with Zr Academy of Education must read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is a condition precedent to the provision of any services by the Company. The Client shall comply with these Terms and Conditions for the entire duration of the service relationship. Where the Client does not accept or ceases to accept these Terms and Conditions, the Company reserves the right to refuse to commence, suspend, or terminate the provision of services.
By making any payment, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
Agree to be bound by them
Agree to comply with all policies and procedures of Zr Academy of Education
These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement for services.
2. Enrollment Process
The enrollment process is as follows:
Review course information -> Understand course/service arrangements -> Provide necessary personal details -> Attend a trial class (New Students Only) -> Confirm enrollment -> Pay fees -> Receive a receipt upon request -> Attend classes and follow arrangements
3. Trial Classes (New Students Only)
Trial classes may be offered for certain courses
Trial classes are typically 30 minutes, depending on the course and student needs
Payment is required after the trial if continuing
If a session exceeds the trial duration, it may be charged at the standard rate (with prior notice)
4. Course Structure, Validity & Fees
Junior classes: 1.5 hours per session, including a short break
Senior classes: 2 hours per session, including a short break
Minimum enrollment:
Courses are typically booked in blocks of 10 sessions.
Where fewer than 10 sessions are purchased, Zr Academy of Education reserves the right to apply a reasonable administrative or management fee, which will be clearly communicated in advance.
Course validity:
Courses are valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment
Extensions may be granted in reasonable circumstances (e.g. illness, exams, relocation), at the discretion of Zr Academy of Education
Cooling-off period (consumer rights):
Where booking is made remotely (e.g. online, phone, or messaging), a 14-day cooling-off period applies in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2022
If the student requests to begin classes within this period:
They expressly agree to immediate provision of services
Any refund will be proportionally reduced based on sessions delivered
Once services are fully delivered, the right to cancel is lost
Refund policy:
After classes begin, refunds may be issued for unused sessions only, subject to:
Deduction of an administrative fee
Recalculation of any discounts applied
Refund requests must be made in writing
No refunds for sessions already delivered
Promotional/discounted courses:
May have specific conditions, which will be clearly communicated before enrollment
5. Attendance & Student Responsibilities
Students must:
Follow classroom rules and behave respectfully
Engage in learning and not disrupt others
Respect teachers and fellow students
Intellectual Property:
Recording (audio/video) of lessons is not permitted without prior written consent
Course materials are for personal educational use only
Copying, distributing, or sharing materials publicly is prohibited
Course usage:
Enrollments are personal and non-transferable
Attendance expectations:
Students should attend classes regularly and complete assigned work
Continued non-attendance or lack of engagement may result in suspension of services after reasonable notice
Cancellations and rescheduling:
If a student wishes to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the student or parent/guardian must notify Zr Academy of Education at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson.
If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if the student does not attend the lesson, the lesson may be charged in full and no refund or replacement lesson will be provided.
Persistent absence:
Where a student repeatedly misses scheduled classes without adequate notice,
Zr Academy of Education reserves the right to treat those sessions as delivered and deduct them from the remaining balance
This may apply where:
Less than 24 hours' notice is given
There is a pattern of repeated absence without reasonable cause
Exceptions may be made in genuine or exceptional circumstances
Communication:
All scheduling and service communication must go through official channels of Zr Academy of Education
Students shall not directly contact, engage, or arrange lessons with teachers outside authorised channels of Zr Academy of Education without the prior written consent of Zr Academy of Education.
Conduct policy:
Abuse, harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour is strictly prohibited
Zr Academy of Education may suspend or terminate services where necessary
Any action taken will be proportionate, and refunds for unused sessions will be considered where appropriate
Any renewal, continuation of lessons, registration, or payment of fees shall constitute the student's acceptance of the then-current Terms and Conditions of Zr Academy of Education, without the need for further acknowledgement or confirmation.
6. Commitments by Zr Academy of Education
Zr Academy of Education agrees to:
Provide clear information on pricing, schedules, and services
Issue receipts upon request.
Deliver services with reasonable care and skill
Provide appropriately qualified teachers and suitable learning resources
Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
Deliver courses appropriate to the student's level
Comply with applicable data protection laws, including General Data Protection Regulation
Not use student names or images for commercial purposes without consent
7. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control.
In such cases:
Services may be postponed or adapted
Fees will be adjusted fairly based on services delivered
Both parties will communicate promptly
8. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Complaints should be submitted in writing
Zr Academy of Education will respond within a reasonable timeframe
Parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith
This does not affect statutory rights under Irish law, including protections enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
9. Interpretation & Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Zr Academy of Education reserves the right to interpret and apply these Terms & Conditions in the context of its services.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or affect any statutory rights of consumers, nor restrict the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
